This sofa collection was our first collaboration with Bernhardt Design, launched in 2009. Jerry Helling, creative director of Bernhardt Design, gave us the brief which required for the piece to be "voluptous, yet elegant...oversized, but that it appears to be floating". So our first take on it was a ballerina piglet on pointe that glenty glides while dancing ballet. The result is an elegant piece with polished aluminum legs.
Two simple color stripes on the backrest cushions give the sofa an extra detail. The stripes are revealed in the sides through a "V-shape cut".
